The Leadership of the Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard
The Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard is blessed to have a leadership team dedicated to Christ and to accomplishing His will. Our leadership team consists of a council of four elders and four deacons, each serving two-year terms. The council works with the pastor and numerous other volunteers to support our church's ongoing ministry.
Our Pastor
John Kostelyk
Pastor John has been happily married for over 30 years to his wife, Arla. They have five children: Phillip (& Charlotte), James (& Paige), Angela (& Johnny), Joel (& Lindsey), and Noah.
Pastor John has been in the ministry with his wife since 1993. He did his undergrad at Reformed Bible College where he met Arla and obtained his Masters in Counseling from Western Michigan University. Pastor John is a second career pastor, and attended Calvin Seminary after working as a counselor for a number of years. Pastor John is an ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church and a Licensed Therapist in the State of Michigan.
Pastor John Kostelyk was called to serve as Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard's Pastor in 2017. Prior to that, he served as Pastor of Hammond CRC in Hammond, Indiana for 13 years and 10 years ministering in churches on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico.
